This is the executable binary for SAOimage ds9 from

http://hea-www.harvard.edu/RD/ds9/

The source code is available from that site as well. However, it may not compile
on all Linux systems, and we suggest using the binary whenever possible.

The script install_ds9 will copy the binary to /usr/local/bin/. Other versions
of ds9 should work equally well for image acquisition with xmccd.

You will also need xpa. It is best to compile and install it from the
source code included in XmCCD if it is not already on your system.

There are two scripts here, one for 32-bit linux and the other for 64-bit. Pick
the one appropriate for your system and needs. The 32-bit version will be all
that you'll require for image acquisition and display under xmccd.
