XmCCD

This distribution includes source code to utilize the 
Santa Barbara Instrument Group (SBIG) udrv.a library
with a Motif-based graphical user interface camera control program.

The version of the library also included here is 

udrv4.35 dated 3 February 2004.


Since the driver and camera control protocols are proprietary, source code is 
not available for the library.  However, there is extensive documentation
in the accompanying pdf manual.The library and its documentation are in
the separate subdirectory "sbig/" within the tar file for XmCCD.

The  XmCCD software is offered under the GNU Public License.

INSTALL describes how to build and install XmCCD. Note that XmCCD is
based on Motif.  Either Motif or Lesstif must be present in order to
build the executable. XmCCD will make use of SAOds9, if available,
for image display and file handling.
