The University of Louisville and the University of Southern Queensland jointly operate a remotely controlled/robotic 0.5-meter corrected Dall-Kirkham Planewave CDK20 telescope at Mt. Kent. The enclosure, manufactured by Sirius Observatories in Clontarf, Queensland, Australia, is on a site formerly used for the Arthur Page Telescope.

There is an identical companion northern telescope at Moore Observatory.
